Full-Time · Pasig City · On-Site · ₱35,000 / month
You will compound inside one of the few purpose-built ISO 7 cleanrooms in the Philippines, train alongside US 503B consultants, and put medication into the hands of patients who currently have no safe option.
The role
As Sterile Compounding Pharmacist at ObraRx, you are the production core of our operation. You prepare sterile injectable medications — beginning with GLP-1 compounds — inside our ISO 7 cleanroom under the supervision of the Pharmacist-in-Charge. You maintain rigorous aseptic technique on every batch, complete documentation in real time, and uphold the quality standards that protect every patient who receives our medications.
This is a hands-on, production-critical role. You compound every shift. As ObraRx scales, strong performers grow into senior compounding, training, or operations leadership.
What you will do
- Prepare sterile injectable compounds inside an ISO 7 cleanroom using proper aseptic technique
- Operate biological safety cabinets and laminar airflow workbenches per SOP
- Complete batch records, compounding logs, and labeling documentation accurately and in real time
- Perform pharmaceutical calculations — concentrations, dilutions, beyond-use dating — with second-check verification
- Conduct in-process quality checks — visual inspection, pH, particulate review, sterility sampling preparation
- Perform and document gowning, cleanroom entry, cleaning, and environmental monitoring procedures
- Follow all SOPs for material transfer, decontamination, and waste disposal
- Report deviations, near-misses, and out-of-specification results to the PIC immediately
- Assist in training pharmacy technicians on cleanroom discipline and aseptic technique
- Participate in environmental monitoring, media fills, gowning qualification, and competency assessments
What we're looking for
- PRC-licensed pharmacist (RPh) in good standing, with a valid Professional Tax Receipt
- Two or more years of pharmacy experience, with hospital IV admixture, oncology compounding, or sterile preparation exposure strongly preferred
